Polarbröd
Polarbröd - one of Sweden’s oldest and today the third largest producer of bread – have, with Centuri, increased efficiency and quality in complaints management and other information processes.


Challenge
Polarbröd used their own developed SharePoint-solution to handle complaints. It was inefficient, slow and it was difficult to get an overview of ongoing cases and future challenges.

Solution
To centralize, streamline and make a more efficient complaints management, Polarbröd developed a cloud-based solution with Centuri case management. This solution went into operation within the company in October 2015.

Results
The new solution gives Polarbröd a better overview, control, management and follow-up of all the complaints in one common platform – no matter where it came from. The complaints management has been more efficient and the degree of service has increased.

karolinska-

Karolinska University hospital is one of Europe’s biggest university hospitals with over 15 000 employees across several different professional groups. Together with the Karolinska Institute the hospital constitutes a medical center with a high international reputation.

 

Challenge
Important documents where spread out on file servers and in different binders. No one took a clear responsibility to update the documents. Often the information lacked an owner and there was no efficient way to search among them.

Solution
In 2003 the AnOpIVA clinic adapted Centuri document management system. Everyone at the clinic was trained in Centuri. A number of important documents were reviewed, scanned, or created from scratch and got an appointed owner and approver.

Results
Better control of governing and operational information. A clear structure and better traceability resulted in a more secure handling of instructions, routines, guidelines and policies, which led to increased patient security.

Aleris

Aleris is one of the leading private care businesses in the Nordics. Located in Sweden, Norway and Denmark it offers services within three main areas – health care, elderly care and mental health.


Challenge
Having several different management systems within the company made the employees day to day work harder. Parts of the organization handled deviations on paper. And supplier contracts where not visible to the organization.

Solution
By implementing Centuri within the whole company Aleris created a management system that supports a common way to work and encourages knowledge transfer.

Results
The daily work is simplified and unified in a way that enables management governance and follow-up on deviations. Centuri makes the business processes faster and helps to prevent risks and thereby increase patient security.

Capio
Capio is a large European care business and offers a wide range of care of high quality within medicine, surgery and psychiatry in Sweden, Norway, France and Germany. The operations in Sweden consist of one emergency hospital, approximately 30 medical clinics for specialist care, 18 clinics for psychiatric care and 75 clinics for primary care.

Challenge
Until 2013 quality management within Capio psychiatry was handled with a decentralized folder structure and manual routines. The ways of working were time consuming and inefficient. It was difficult to handle deviations and to find information and keep track of documents.

Solution
During the fall of 2013 the business unit implemented a centralized document- and quality management system based in Centuri. This has later on expanded to cover most of the operations within Capio.

Results
The new solution has made quality management more efficient. It has made the responsibility over information and processes clearer and strengthened the control of deviation- and case management.

Peab
Peab is a leading construction company with operations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. With Centuri the company has created a new integrated quality and document management system. The previous document mess with different information islands is now consolidated into a group wide information hub with easy access for everyone.

Challenge
Until 2011 all Peab information, quality and document processes were relatively heterogeneous where divisions handled the processes in separate ways in their own systems.

Solution
To simplify and create a more efficient and integrated quality and document management system in the entire organization Peab have incorporated a new group wide system based on Centuri and 2c8.

Results
The new solution leads to higher information quality and a better overview of all the processes, documents and information carriers. It is easier to see and understand processes and information flow, and to find documents and templates. The risk of duplicates and costly manual routines has been eliminated.

Region Västmanland is the second largest employer in the area after the city of Västerås. The most common professions are assistant nurses, nurses, doctors and paramedics, but also biomedical analysts, administrators, teachers, engineers, chefs and carpenters.

Challenge
To secure that management and all employees are involved in the work and communicate that the management system is nothing more than “our way of working”.

Solution
Creating documented routines for increased patient security and for the employer’s safety. As a technical platform they have Centuri document management system and the process modeling tool 2c8.

Results
A unified way of working and documented routines within the region so that the requirements from example the constitution SOSFS 2011:9, management system for systematic quality work and in the standard SS-EN 15224:2012 The management system for quality in health and medical care are being fulfilled in the region.
